What is the difference between speech therapy and occupational therapy?

Occupational therapists and speech therapists can often address similar needs. Especially for younger children, concerns related to feeding and talking can be addressed by either an OT or an SLP. Generally, speech language pathologists help with speech and feeding related issues, while occupational therapists address a broader range of concerns.
